TONING & CARDIO CLASSES

Wildroots is excited to offer a NEW class "Tone Up." (Previously Circuit.) We've redesigned this class based on feedback from our clients. 

 

These classes can help you manage or lose weight and build strength.  

 

We will use hand weights during many of the exercises. Beginners are welcome. No two classes are ever the same!

Tone Up

ALL LEVEL

INTENSITY: MODERATE - HIGH

Ready for a challenge?  Try your hand (or full body, rather) at Tone Up!   Performing each exercise at 100% effort for 60 seconds with 30 seconds of rest in between.  Keep your body and mind on their toes with this ever changing class!  This muscle toning, heart pumping class will never be the same!

Barre

BEGINNER / ALL LEVEL

INTENSITY: HIGH - VERY HIGH

Barre class is named for the primary piece of equipment: the bar.  Barre class is a rigorous workout that blends elements from different exercise styles including ballet, pilates, and yoga. Combining so many different challenging workouts can seem intimidating.  Not a ballerina?  Don’t sweat it!  We welcome first-timers, and your instructor will be there to help you get used to moving your body in new ways.  They’ll explain how you can integrate the equipment into the class to get the best workout possible.  Ready to shake your tail feathers?  We’ll see you at the barre!

World Workout

Fight For Fitness

INTENSITY: VERY HIGH

The first rule of Friday Fight? We do not stop talking about Friday Fight! Friday’s Fight for Fitness is an explosive cardio workout.  You are your own opponent in this high energy experience that borrows training styles from mixed martial arts, kickboxing, Muay Thai, karate, functional athletic training, and more. A coach guides you through boxing, ground work, drills and conditioning.  Leave it all on the mat and walk away feeling like a champion.

Zumba®

Perfect for everybody and every BODY! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it out. We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party! Once the latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Super fun? Check and check.

Tone & Flow

INTENSITY: MODERATE - HIGH

Tone & Flow is a class that incorporates hand weights and high-intensity cardio bursts for a maximum calorie-burning effect. You’ll recognize all of the postures from our other Flow classes. The hand weights add a new challenge to traditional yoga classes.  Tone & Flow also incorporates cardio exercises to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing. And of course, there’s always an opportunity for a challenging core workout to be mixed in!

TRX

ALL LEVEL

INTENSITY: MODERATE - HIGH

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete the exercises.
